Frequently asked questions
Why is there still a wait after my item is found, and how long does the process take?
After an item is found, staff still need to contact the custodian, verify identity and authorization documents, and arrange handover and forwarding. The overall process usually takes around two weeks to one and a half months, depending on the custodian’s cooperation and the complexity of the formalities. This is not a fixed delivery commitment. Special items also require a shipping-eligibility check.
Is successful recovery guaranteed?
We cannot guarantee that an item will be recovered or released, or that in-person collection is available nationwide. Arrangements depend on the custodian and the item.
What should I do if my MyLost application shows no progress?
Reply to the original support email with your application or order number. Staff will check contact with the custodian, recovery and dispatch progress. If additional documents or payment are needed, follow the instructions for that order.
