Strengths of the Meito Group | Our Strengths | Meito
Manufacturer logistics know-how and a fine-grained transport network
Building a robust logistics infrastructure suited to the internet era
The Meito Group is home to numerous distinctive logistics companies, including Meito Logicom, which offers a wide range of services from in-plant logistics to the operation of distribution centers for the retail industry; Meito Frec, which provides food logistics covering all three temperature zones—dry, chilled, and frozen; Meito Zentsu, which handles home food delivery services supplying food to consumers' homes; and Meito Sokuhai Support, which provides same-day delivery services using light-duty trucks.
In contrast, having grown as the logistics subsidiary of a major manufacturer, Meito offers the following strengths: (1) an extensive domestic transport and delivery network (a nationwide system of approximately 80 locations) and overseas network for the stable supply of precision equipment such as copiers to Group sales companies and business partners; (2) an abundant track record and know-how in the upstream processes of the supply chain, such as procurement logistics and production logistics; and (3) a well-developed reverse logistics system for collecting and recycling used equipment, cartridges, and the like.

By integrating our existing capabilities with those of the Meito Group companies, the menu of logistics solutions we can offer our customers becomes more comprehensive, while the quality of each service improves dramatically. For example, our domestic transport and delivery network becomes even more fine-grained than before, leading to shorter delivery lead times and making it ideal as a last-mile infrastructure for both B2B and B2C in the online retail business, which continues to maintain high growth rates.
In addition, as the number of logistics facilities centered on warehouses increases all at once, any concentration of infrastructure in specific areas is also eliminated. Furthermore, since the state-of-the-art, highly functional facilities that the Meito Group has been developing are added to the list, customers become able to outsource operations to more convenient logistics facilities.
