President's Message

Toward a Trusted Logistics Infrastructure Company Connecting Japan and the World

Meito Inc. President and Representative Director Sho Ryu

In recent years, the environment surrounding e-commerce (EC) has changed dramatically. We have entered an era in which more sophisticated and integrated logistics services are required—reaching beyond domestic transactions to encompass cross-border EC, international freight forwarding, customs clearance, bonded operations, domestic delivery, and EC marketplace integration.

Since its founding, Meito Inc. has provided comprehensive logistics solutions built on a foundation of cross-border EC logistics. Today, we handle a wide range of import and export operations on an end-to-end basis: operating the cross-border EC platform "JPGOODBUY," providing door-to-door delivery in partnership with Japan Post, running logistics centers in Osaka and Tokyo, performing customs brokerage, operating bonded warehouses, and delivering international freight transport, domestic delivery within Japan, 3PL logistics, and EC marketplace integration support.

Our strength lies not simply in moving goods. It lies in building the optimal logistics framework for our clients' businesses by viewing logistics operations, customs systems, warehouse management, delivery networks, and IT systems as an integrated whole. By leveraging our in-house developed WMS, OMS, ERP, and other systems, we manage inbound and outbound processing, inventory management, sorting, customs-related data, and delivery arrangements in a unified manner—working to deliver logistics services that are more accurate, faster, and more transparent.

In logistics, stable and consistent service quality is one of the most important foundations of all. Maintaining a consistent level of quality and minimizing delays and disruptions—even during peak seasons—is, we believe, a fundamental responsibility of a logistics company. At the same time, we do not aim merely to maintain the status quo. We place great importance on enhancing our clients' operational capacity and expanding the potential for business growth. Through reducing logistics costs, improving operational efficiency, visualizing data, and redesigning business workflows, we support the creation of an environment in which our clients can operate their businesses at a higher level.

Furthermore, in cross-border business, partial optimization of logistics alone cannot deliver sufficient results for the business as a whole. Truly efficient business operations become possible only when the flows of commerce, information, goods, and capital—together with customs, taxation, contracts, compliance, and systems—all work in concert. Drawing on practical understanding of not only logistics, IT, and supply chain but also finance, taxation, and legal affairs, we aim to build solutions oriented toward overall optimization rather than partial optimization.

We do not judge business value by short-term profitability alone. We also actively take on challenges that hold research value, practical potential for improvement, and future social significance. Confronting the challenges of operational efficiency that have yet to be fully resolved—and combining on-site improvements, IT systems, and supply chain design to create new logistics frameworks—is, we believe, an important mission for Meito.

Meito Inc.'s management philosophy is "Righteousness Before Profit" (Sengi-Kori). Rather than pursuing short-term profit alone, we value legal compliance, trust, quality, human resources, and social responsibility, and we strive to remain a company that earns the long-term trust of our clients, employees, business partners, and society.

Going forward, Meito Inc. will continue to integrate logistics, customs clearance, bonded operations, IT, and supply chain management, and, as a trusted logistics infrastructure company connecting Japan and the world, contribute to the growth of our clients' businesses and the development of society.

We sincerely ask for your continued and unwavering support.
